Field Service Technician

Boon Edam Inc, a manufacturer of turnstiles and revolving doors located in Lillington, North Carolina, is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and safety oriented individual to be a Regional Field Service and Install Technician. We are currently looking to fill a position in the Midwest or Central States region. This individual should be able to provide: • Exceptional service to regional managers, distributor technicians, and end-user customers via site visits and telephone communication. • Schedule and provide necessary installation, service and maintenance of customer's equipment, to the highest possible standards. • Enjoy travel as you will consistently travel throughout the United States and Canada installing and servicing Boon Edam product. • Work remotely with the Technical Service Manager, Installation Manager and Customer Support Team at the Boon Edam factory in Lillington, NC.

Regional Field Service and Install Technician

Skills/Qualifications: • Electrical skills, low voltage electronics and high voltage electrical theory. • Electrical circuit troubleshooting abilities. • Product installation skills and the ability to work with different GC’s and subcontractors to install Boon Edam product in a professional, safe and efficient manner. • Telephone Skills, Strong Verbal and Written Communication, Attention to Detail, Microsoft Office Skills, PC and Internet Explorer Knowledge, Listening, Professionalism, Customer Focus, Organization, Informing and Training Others, Handles Pressure, Phone Skills. • Familiarity with installation tools such as; cordless drills, hammer drills, levels, hand tools, electrical meters, etc… • Two year degree in Electrical/Electronic Theory or Plant Maintenance, or similar. Or two years similar field experience.
