Boon Edam Inc. Security Entrance Sales Revenue in Q4 2010 Up Sharply

Lillington, NC – Boon Edam Inc, the leading manufacturer of security entrance solutions in North America, announced today that its sales revenue in the fourth quarter of 2010 was sharply higher, up by 50% over the previous three quarters. Sales of security entrance solutions in North America were particularly strong, showing increased demand for physical access control in the marketplace. Overall sales revenue and orders were up 16% and 12% respectively in 2010 than in 2009.

Dutch police academy renovation includes Boon Edam entrance and security door solutions

On the 6^th September 2010, Queen Beatrix officially reopened the national police academy in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Housed on a heritage site, the main location of the academy was in need of an extensive renovation to equip it for the future. As part of the renovation project, the police academy contracted Boon Edam to manufacture and install an impressive number of entrance and security door solutions.

Boon Edam secures large entrance order for Erasmus MC, Rotterdam

Edam, Netherlands, September 2^nd – Boon Edam Nederland B.V. has secured the order to manufacture and install 14 revolving doors and 2 security portals in the Erasmus MC in Rotterdam. The largest university medical centre of Holland is undergoing a drastic rebuild and extension project that will take eight years to complete. During that time the general hospital, children’s hospital, education centre and thorax centre will be renewed.
